I uploaded this really late, but it's up! I had kept the microgames for this on my Wii for some time, but with the contests seemingly racing by (though that's more because I'm not as interested in this as I once was and not because they're coming any faster), I remembered to actually play these. The microgames in this contest are, in order of the placement in the shelves:
"Snowball War" from Phantom
"Icy Survival" from STB
"Snow Boardin" from Will
"Snowmatch" from Kate
"Bumpty March" from Mandew
"Snow Slide" from G-Bomber
"Curl Power" from Blueguy
"Slooooooow!" from Travis
"Snowman" from Adam
"Snowfight" from Howsen
"Snow Warrior" from Nitro
"Snowman" from Evan
"Cannon Man" from Soren
"Snowman" from Mike
"Snowflake" from Jman
"Christmas" from Joey
"Snowy Trail" from Ben
"HO HO UH-OH!" from REDDOGInc
My favorites were "Bumpty March," though I didn't like the background as it was copied whole from Jimmy T.'s ice skating microgame (more on that later), and "Christmas," as I like the idea of Santa breaking through the window instead of the fireplace.
Unfortunately, there are a couple of seemingly unwinnable games in this batch, making it impossible for me to achieve a high score. The first on the list is Howsen's "Snowfight." You're supposed to defend your castle, and that's exactly what I did, and I still lost.
The other is Nitro's "Snow Warrior." You barely have enough time to pick up the logs, but the game seems to like to throw all sorts of hazards at you that, once hit, causes you to lose the game. The most obvious one here is the high-bouncing snowball, which arrives too quickly to react to and gives you too little time to dodge. There's also a piece of firewood floating up in the air that's unreachable that only appears near the end, when you don't have enough time to get back.
While "Bumpty March" made use of its background, there's also an instance of flat-out plagiarism of the ice skating microgame from Jmmy T's set, in this case, Trevor's "Slooooooow!" game. All that's changed is that the ice, both the floor and the blocks, have been colored brown and the judges' scores removed. (Hopefully, this is not the same Trevor who's been putting up music, though until he creates some original music, I have no reason to believe he isn't.) What is it about this microgame that makes people keep plagiarizing it? "Bumpty March" I can forgive because there was some actual original work. But do they think nobody would notice if you took a game from the DS, messed with it a little, and put it up for the contest? It's almost as bad as the one where someone took Edd's face (from Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy) and stuck it onto an ice cream man's head.
Wasn't there a microgame from before that was completely unchanged--name, description, and all?
To answer that last question: yes, there was. Someone submitted 18-Volt's game "Zelda 2" for contest 9 (Genre) COMPLETELY unchanged. Music, name, description... everything was the same. And it WON! However, it was taken off the shelves after the first day of its distribution. Obviously, Nintendo thought that because of the game's ever-shrinking popularity, no one would notice. Little do they know that I constantly check for updates.

@Artrocks93 Oh yeah, I remmeber that now.
There was also a soccer microgame from Jimmy T.'s set (popular to plagiarize from, I guess) whose only change was that the soccer ball was now colorful. The name and description were unchanged too.

@Overhazard Also, if you look closely, the skater in "Slooooooow!" has also been changed. Quite a bit actually.

@Artrocks93 It's still plagiarism--you clear the stage in the exact same way.

In Snowfight, you're supposed to repeatedly press A on the cannon on your tower, touching your guy when arrows come your way. Touching the cannon shoots snowballs at the other guy until his HP gets to 0.
In Snow Warrior: Press A right at the beginning. Then press it again when you get the first wood block, then again when you get the second, and again when you get the third. The timing with the bouncy snowball works perfectly. And the ones in the air represent the ones you already collected....

@homestar43 Oh, so that's your opponent's HP. The game and the description just said to defend the castle, so that's what I did. It didn't say to attack it, so I figured you just need to survive to the end.
I do try to press A to turn the eskimo guy around, but he gets caught in the snowball anyway.
