I like how the book doesn't do what most media, even the well-intentioned, does with homosexuality, shoving it away as something external to society.
The thing is, and this book explains it quite well, we homosexual beings are still a part of a big society full of people and we all are different but in the end we can live together just fine, we shouldn't let our differences come between us and just get along, like the penguins.

This has been suggested to me a few times. I was thinking about doing a parody of some kind.
