I am not the most knowledgeable on the subject because I haven't been scammed, but just be careful and know what is obviously fake!

  • I just bought a little mac eyeshadow palette today for $10 and after watching the video I'm !00% sure its fake.. but I do like the colors very much and they look very decent when applied too... so my question is, what is wrong with buying fake products? other then the case of u getting less product or a brush that looses its hairs etc... lets take a look at the case of an eyeshadow. why does it matter if its real mac or a replica if the colors work nicely?

  • i got 14 mac blushes on ebay for $30 , there all real because my mum has a friend who works at the mac counter , and told me its real-NO LIES

  • @OceanlalaLovesyou

Why would a MAC store be selling fakes???

  • @bernadettez1967

Totally! eBay is becoming totally not worth bothering with...

  • @wipeyourtearz

This video isn't about whether or not any fake products are actually good quality. It's about the fact that they are not the brand they claim to be hence not MAC quality

  • I know this tutorial is an older one, but I just had to comment. I live in a rural area, so I don't have a MAC store. I shopped for some Mac on Ebay and then I discovered the MAC website. I noticed that Ebay products cost more than ordering from MAC directly. I was surprised about this because I was looking for a deal. So beware of shopping Ebay! You are might be paying more. The Sigma brush set on Ebay was $100 opening bid. They are only $59 on the Sigma website.

  • I've had my share of genuine and fake mac brushes. To be quite honest, the quality of the fake ones was surprisingly good on the most part. I experienced very little shedding and the idiosyncrasies with the fake brushes - in some brushes - appealed to me more than the real ones. (I found my fake 168 brush to be thinner and therefore more suitable to contour my face). I'm not really fussed that they're fake. You can always sanitise brushes before use.

  • @jgorgievska Because if they buy a fake product nobody but the seller knows where it came from. I mean who knows, the fake products could have come from China or some other developing country and it could be infected with some weird germs, which is bad for both your eyes and complexion.

  • I have the same TV ))))

  • I bought 3 brushes,

1st one was obviously fake, but I wasn't bothered, because I just wanted that particular type of brush anyway

2nd I have no idea about. It was from ebay but it looks very very real.

3rd was off the Mac website. (This is how I know what they are supposed to look like and so the 2nd one looks just the same).

I didn't buy the first 2 thinking they were real, but I got them because I liked the brush and wanted a cheaper version.

  • mac is expensive. The fakes work just like the real ones.

  • i just put up a video showing some fake MAC products, check it out so you'll see how crap it is and think twice before purchasing!
