Linkedin marketing tip shows you how you can export your connections and save them to your computer. Why do you want to do this? You spend a lot of time developing these connections, don't lose them due to your account possibly being shut down, compromised or maybe you have to change your account.

It is really easy to save your connections and export them from Linkedin to a spreadsheet. Let me know if this tip is helpful by leaving your comments below. If you need help or have questions when you export your connections, let me know. I will be more than happy to help you.

  • Thanks Lynn, I look forward to connecting with you in 2012. Happy Holidays and Happy and Prosperous New Year.

  • @carljra Thanks Carl for the warm new year wishes. I think 2012 will be our best year ever! Appreciate your wonderful positive attitude and support.

  • Thanks for sharing Lynn - Is the goal of exporting connections for backup only or can these backup files be used for other purposes?

  • @carljra You know Carl these are your connections you created on Linkedin. However, you could email them with an invite to subscribe to your mailing list, explaining what they can expect. I might even include a free report that would be of interest to your connections. Just caution against spamming of any kind. Hope that is helpful.

  • @ThaiSilkMagic Since you have the emails from your Linkedin connections, they already accepted your invite to connect on Linkedin, BUT they have not accepted to subscribe to your mailing list. You could send an email asking them to subscribe -- just caution against spam or not giving your connections the choice. Hope that helps Amnuai :)

  • @MrKenpringle Thanks Ken appreciate that and looking forward to 2012 .... wishing you and your family Happy New Year!

  • Thank you Lynn, another great tip!

Have a merry Christmas my friend.

  • Lynn I had never thought of doing this before. Wow my mind boggles if my Linkedin account was ever shut down! I wonder if I asked permission of some my connections whether I could add them to our Thai Silk Magic mailing list? Thanks as always for sharing such a great tip. Amnuai
