The Messiah's name is not Jesus, it is Yahushua, & He did not come to re unite 'Jew and Gentile' He came to find the lost sheep of the House of Israel and bring all 12 Tribes back into one stick as we read in Ezekiel 37. A person is no longer considered a 'Gentile' if he comes into the Covenant and even if a persons physical ancestry is not from one of the 12 tribes he can still be a part of YHWH's people Yasrael (Israel) by following the same instructions and laws given to Yasrael.

I've read the book and i believe Rabbi Cahn has shown us the truth. I have felt for a long time this country has become arrogant but so many think otherwise. I will not be afraid to say we are...with a good word to back it up!

@Lonni3377 Rabbi Cahn is NOT I believe saying that America has REPLACED Israel...they are different! Rather, he is saying that America is ALSO fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah 9.

@Lonni3377 History tends to repeat itself. Rabbi Cahn is not out of line to recognize America fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah 9 because that prophecy could have more than one level of fulfillment. Another example is Abraham's offering of Isaac, only God intervenes, Isaac is spared and a substitute sacrifice is offered. Fast forward...God offers HIS Son, (same place) repeating the same pattern that He laid out for Abraham and Isaac...only He didn't spare His only Son.

@Lonni3377 Something to consider: Matthew 2:15 quotes a Hosea 11:1 prophecy. "Out of Egypt have I called my son..." Only the Matthew account is referring to Christ coming out of Egypt as a child after the death of Herod. The Hosea account is referring to Israel.

"When Israel was a child, then I loved him..." Yet Matthew 2:15 declares itself as a fulfillment of that prophecy. The Western view of prophecy is prophecy-fulfillment...but prophecy is also PATTERN.

1) God did not give the commandments 2 just the Jews. He gave them to the 12 tribes of Israel. Judah is just one tribe. Here are the 12 tribes of Israel: - Asher, Benjamin, Dan, Gad, Issachar, *Joseph, *Judah, Levi, Naphtali, Reuben, Simeon & Zebulun.

The birthright name of "ISRAEL" went 2 Joseph; & ultimately Jacob's grandsons Manasseh & Ephraim.

All the prophecies against latter day Israel are against the house of Joseph which is Manasseh & Ephraim, which is America & Britain respectively.

2) Here is 1 Chronicles 5:1-2 which proves the birthright name of ISRAEL goes to JOSEPH and NOT Judah.

1) Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was the firstborn; but, forasmuch as he defiled his father's bed, his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright.

2) For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler; but the birthright was Joseph's:)

3) Getting to my point, if God gave the 10 commandments to the 12 tribes of Israel, with the birthright name going to the house of Joseph. Then God gave the 7th day Sabbath also to the 12 tribes of Israel, and NOT just to the Jews.

When the house of Joseph, America & Britain, return to keeping the Sabbath, then it will be easier for them to keep the rest of God's commandments, laws, judgments, statutes, ordinances & charges.

4) The Sabbath is the perpetual sign between God & Israel: Exodus 31:16-17

16) Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

17) it is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
