Chronicles the 1986 marching routine from Yellow Jacket Stadium in Cleburne, TX to World Expo in Brisbane, Australia. Captured from 22 year old VHS footage shot by my dad.
I graduated in '97, but this show really moves me! Helmcamp and Reed are forever in my heart. However, lots of bands shy away from this show because of "political correctness". I wish we could just play great shows and have fun.
Wow, I had almost forgotten how moving and powerful this show was. I was right there, marching in it, and had forgotten. Thank you so much for allowing us to remember this long past beautiful peace of Cleburne High's Golden Pride history.
oh my goodness...I haven't seen that in so long! I'd forgotten how incredible and emotional it was. I'm sitting here all shaking and in tears---lol! What a great memory!!! Thanks for posting this!
Kudos for constructing this awesome video! Although I didn't march GP until '89, this show was the pentacle right up until I graduated in 1994. Simply awesome! Give 'Em Heaven!
It's official: you guys ROCKED. Totally amazing!!!!!!!!!!! :D keep up the good work!
By the way, how many people were in the band that year??

The honky tonk yell around 3:30 was the best.
