Riley B. King mejor conocido como B. B. King (por su antiguo apodo "The Street Blues Boy King"), nacido el 16 de septiembre de 1925 en Itta Bena, Misisipi, es un famoso guitarrista de blues, jazz blues y compositor.
Según la revista Rolling Stone, King es el guitarrista más grande en vida, y ocupa el tercer puesto entre los "100 guitarristas más grandes de todos los tiempos" (detrás de Jimi Hendrix y Duane Allman).
Es conocido por llamar a sus guitarras "Lucille", una tradición que inició en los 1950s,2 e incluso compuso una canción con ese título haciendo referencia a la manera en que su guitarra cambió su vida.
