  • You are very talented! Your work is awesome and I am loving the simplicity of your lighting on your location work.

I have a question about your choice of the Mola Setti 28 beauty dish - May I ask why you chose that modifier over, for instance, the 22" Alienbees white dish, especially considering that you had to modify it to use it with the B1600? Does it give a considerably different look? Or because it was a bit larger? These videos are awesome, by the way!

  • @turbostangtodd I chose it because it is larger. Thanks!

  • emily, i amazed your works

  • @sarachoki88 thanks!

  • Thats the kind of things I want to do, well done!

  • @lovekissbabe1 thank you!

  • Can I ask you a technical question. From your video, the sun is blazing and the strobe needs to over power the sun light a bit. Plus the camera cannot go over 250sec to close down the light and the Aperture must be at least f/9 to f/13 from more light entering... how did you get bokeh with the limit of 250/sec and low ISO. Looks like you are able to get down to f/2.8 or even lower... how is this accomplish due to the blazing sun and strobe lighting?

  • @mcheng102 Im not to expert :-) but you can use Neutral Density filters to cut down the ambient light so you can have a bigger apperture.

  • @mcheng102 lots of options, ND filters, Telephoto lens, Hyper-Sync PW's or Photoshop :)

  • OMG THAT IS AMAZING!!! The pictures are so beautiful! I wish I could do that too..

  • I am a new fan. I love how you make lighting simple with just an AB1600 and the beauty dish. I am going to have to incorporate this in my photography. Now, I only shoot natural light even though I have the AB800 and large Octobox. It's just very large to take on location without an assistant.

  • Love your work! i think I love you already. lol

  • Emily, do you have an instructional DVD?. Your one of the few people i'd pay to get one from.
