An old Title sequence I (and a bunch of friends) animated back during the Startoons era. It was part of a concept pitch for an entire children's animated series.

This is Samurai Jack three years early. The timing was right, too. Gargoyles had just recently (I'm guessing this is about 1998, so two years or so) ended and the market was itching for another late-teens marketed show. All we really had at the time was syndicated stuff we'd seen a dozen times or more already. Had this been aired, it would have been huge. It is an absolute shame that it never saw the light of day and didn't get the chance to revolutionize American animation.

Ahead of its time, it emulated anime better than some cartoons from the 00s have done.

Put in its era it's impressive. There's been better since, but this one would have been ahead of the curve.

That's awesome! Amazingly fluid. I can't quite figure out what the plot could be, but I guess that's not so important in the title. ;) I love the Drunken Style guy, wish there was more of that.

Fantastic work. The fluidity of the animations are admirable! It's a shame that this never went anywhere, but I guess it's better off that you've gone into videogames instead.
