C. Vision Productions takes you to central Illinois where cinematographer Louie Schaefer captures exciting action from the Chicago Burlington and Quincy, Santa Fe and the birth years of the Burlington Northern and Amtrak. Exciting fallen flag main line action is abundant in Classic Trains from Galesburg and Cameron, Illinois!
This program was filmed from 1967 to 1976. Original CB&Q and Santa Fe freight and passenger trains open the show. You will then witness the transformation years of the Burlington Northern merger in 1970, along with the birth years of Amtrak in 1971. Finally, Louie captures action in 1976 including an appearance of Burlington Northern's Bicentennial painted U30C, number 1776 and Santa Fe's Bicentennial painted SD 45 dash 2! Several first and second generation diesels are captured along with appearances from other railroads including the Penn Central and Union Pacific.
Don't miss the exciting action from this classic railroad hot spot, during a time period of colorful diesels in Classic Trains from Galesburg and Cameron, Illinois!

  • @BNSF9250 Maybe that is coming in a future program.

However take a look at 'Santa Fe Odyssey Volume III' from Green Frog if you don't have it already. It was filmed in 1991 and features some scenes at Cameron.

  • Excellent! i regularly go to galesburg and cameron to railfan I cant wait to buy this!

  • i was hoping for more of a 1990s look . But i must say this looks like an amazing production worth having in any BN or SF fans collection !! :)
