My fitness instructor actually recommended this, especially on my achilles to reduce my achilles tendonitis

What kind of shoes are you wearing? Are they good for knees and hard distance running?
TheRealSchitzo 20 hours ago
@TheRealSchitzo Those shoes are called Vibran Five Fingers. Some people run long distances in them. I personally do not. They are great to wear around in the summer of for walking on trails. I do run with a "zero drop" minimalist type shoe, but I need more cushion since I run primarily on the road. The shoes I run in are called Altra Instincts. Just Google “Altra Running” if interested. I’d highly recommend them.

@TheRealSchitzo Zero drop shoes are great for your knees since they force you to strike the ground with your mid-foot or fore-foot. The impact is taken off you heel/knees and absorbed by you calf muscle like we evolved to run. Try to run on a sidewalk in your bare feet. That is a natural running form. Check out my other video that discusses this.
