Amy was a victim of Zero Tolerance school policies and suffered unjust punishment at the hands of indifferent Fort Bend Independent School District administrators. The public outcry from friends, teachers and even members of the Texas State Legislature about the decisions and activities of school administrators has caused this issue to be reported at numerous local news outlets. Amy, a National Honor Society member, with a previously impeccable disciplinary history, will now testify at the Texas Legislature regarding amending laws on how Texas school districts must rule on disciplinary issues. Amy Deschenes is interviewed by Kevin Quinn of Channel 13 ABC news in Houston TX.
