  • The composition is amazing. You are very creative. How did you write the piece, and how was it recorded? I love it!

  • thanks :) Well .. big recipe ... let me try here ... hehe ... first A & B atonal row .. then a C row over A & B then the third voice over them both .. then its a matter of modulation ( if you want to do that) then switch the order .. then you start with the rows inverted .. take elements from Twelvetone-music ... this is a small part of the recipe .. sorry .. its so long .. but hey .. feel free to experiment its your composition no one cant tell you that anything is wrong :) G.luck

  • @kongerle Man, just when I feel like I'm getting a good grip on music theory, someone has to make a comment like this =P

  • @Chefodeath

No worries, mate :) It's good that you know the theory. Then you know what rules to break ;) things that I like to do when it comes to Atonal music, is to use chords that are NOT related to each other, but then you will have to know what chords ARE related to each other. In this piece I wrote three atonal rows .. not necessarily twelve tones though, and then wrote them backwords and chose different note values as I went allong :) some modulations here and there ..etc. :)

  • Who wrote this? You? It's great.

  • Thanks...yes I did.I studied music-philosophy and atonal composition a year ago.. This fugue was one of three movements for my exam... :)

  • That first interval of a fifth suggests the first note as the tonic.

  • @kratanuva725 Cool, there is really some great atonal music out there - Stravinsky, Schoenberg, Webern, Berg, nice to hear, I've just started composing some atonal music.

  • @kly45 I have since a year ago when I wrote that. I also have written some atonal music since then.

  • @kratanuva725 You need to listen to more music
