  • I bet those scammers didn't care that she killed herself. What despicable cunts they are, someone should scam them.

  • All I can say is that almost happened to me. I received some scam letter, but I took the check to my bank and ask them to look at it for fraud. Once I found it was fake, I simply inform the person I knew what they were trying to do and scammer went away. Although I could certainly use extra money, if something seems too good to be true, chances are it is not real. I feel bad for people who do fall for these scams, especially if they are going through tough times.

  • @mojohookbarb you are correct. fortunately i know about the cons, frauds , scams, etc. i get mostly calls & e-mails on mortgage & credit card scams.

  • My 78 year old mother is still getting calls at this moment. I can not make her understand. I know what I should do but it is hard. The latest is a man named Kevin Hall with claiming he is going to help my mother recover money from the scammers ! His number is 1-876-404-3907. He want $2000.00 tomorrow ! (10/5/09)

  • I know how it feels. I'm a former gambling addict and lost my entire life savings: $850,000.

  • yup. i've been deceived by a friend. it is about greed though or else they would have never gotten scamed in the first place. learn from your mistakes...it's all we could do in life. that and take responsibilty for your own actions. nothing is free. especially in today's economy.

  • How can you say that? have you ever been deceived by a friend or someone else? It is not about greed but that finally the person will be able to provide financial stability and care for the people who they want to help. The evil people are those who think up of these scams. In no way are the victims greedy. Please try to wear the victims shoes metaphorically speaking.

  • see what happens when you get greedy

  • as i sit here crying eyes out over the loss of your sister and her financial security that she had set herself, my heart pours out for you and for her. i have been there and it is a horrible, horrible pit to have fallen down into. my prayers are with you.
