I was sitting in the back of a pick up while my friends were being loud, obnoxious, stoned, drunk, blaring loud music, and going about 70 m.p.h. Needless to say, I was scared sh*tless. The expressway had recently been opened for not even 2 years and there were reports of vehicles hitting deers all the time. We also hit a deer...that same night! Unfortunately about 5 years later I found out that 1 of my ribs had been knocked out of place and had caused permanent nerve damage.

i witnessed a pickup hit a deer going 60 mph on a 55 mph highway in the lane next to ours about 4 car lengths ahead.... even if youre going a reasonable speed when its dark out those deer really come out of nowhere. cant spot them until theyre RIGHT in front of you and by then its too late anyway. cops speed is irrelevant.
