You don't have to have charisma to be a singer, you just need to put your heart into your singing. Some people like to watch singers that can throw on a great performance on stage, but there's also people that like to listen to music that they can emotional attach along to. Both attracts different audiences. Music is suppose to be for the ears, not the eyes.

Jaycee is not trying to gain popularity from his dad, in fact, he's not even popular. He is trying to persuade a career of his interest, he has been writing music since a very young age (early teens, perhaps even earlier). If he really wanted to use his dad to gain popularity, he could have done so a long time ago by having his dad set him up with big production. But instead he stays quietly in the corner and makes his music. Why is that shameful?

Still he works really hard, he doesn't want to be compared to his dad at all, so he tries his best to suceed on his own.

Alot of people think he just got his fame from his dad, but he's really good at singing (it's what he likes to do). :))

Jaycee is also my favorite chinese actor (& singer).

Don't judge him or people so quick unless you know him in life. :P
