Riding bareback on the roads is not illegal, we checked this out with the police. We subscribe to all forms of high viz for ourselves and the horses, we also know it is not advisable to ride a traffic shy horse on the roads with or without a saddle and flourescent clothing without the support of a dependable companion. We have our own training material with an emphasis on building a relationship based on trust.

im not 100% sure but i think riding bareback on the roads is illegal, do you use learning material from any trainer in particular? Sorry im not big on the more commercialised "trainers" altough i do strongly believe in Natural Horsemanship or training of a sort when there is no pressure put on the horse. good work keep it up she's a beaut. also if your riding on roads you may want to invest in some high-viz, for your horses sake if not your own. Again im really big on horse/rider safety. :)
