thanks geni for wasting our time..this was a free website and now after using for some time,on top of it you have a ridiculous interface... you want us to pay $299 to maintain family tree ..u must be kidding bcos online website dont charge for maintaining your own record...i guess we must be paying $1k cheque every month for facebook and $2k for youtube ...i wish and pray that u people go out of business very soon ..geni.com sucks.....

@adityagopineedi i have geni plus (because i manage a tree with almost 600 profiles) and i don't remember it costing anything close to that. the thing i really don't like is they connect your account to facebook without asking, and if you complain to them, they tell you it is a facebook problem and you need to remove the geni app on FB, when you have no such app added to FB and security settings set high. these sites are so bad these days about sharing databases without asking

Even if I'm the manager of my tree, still I could not edit my relative's profile if they have already accept my invitation by putting their own UserID and password. Whereas they could not master how to solve the merge issue. Could you help me with this issue?

As an administrator, one of the most common mistake is entering wife's last name same as the husband. This creates a false impression that the couple have same last name or, possibly, relatives. This also create lots of merging problems which is chaotic.
