WARNING!..... IF YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN THE MOVIE "SLING BLADE" .... THIS MY PERPLEX YOU.....
....If you have not seen "Sling Blade" ... then do. It is my favorite movie of all time.
The main character Karl Childers struck me deep touched my heart and gut. This is my attempt at honoring him a bit.
Ever Since venturing out on last weeks trip with 11 other hammockers and gear-heads I have been tinkering with my J. Falk Bushwacker Woodburning Stove.
See .... several of us carried them and we saw in action a Kelly Kettle and a SolHuma Vital Stove but I never fired up my BushWacker......
I was tickled to discover that many of the backpackers in the group could speak "Sling Blade".They too not only did the lines but as the lingering characters from that movie.
So, I had promised to do a burn and do a video. Was not getting into it then decided to dress as Karl. The muse was evident.....

This video is an indulgence on my part so please,please forgive me. Doing Karl's voice for hours that eve made my throat hurt, my veins pop of neck and head and even I thought I was disturbing when I cut this. It was, fun!

What i like about it, " it aint got no gas in it" Lol. This is by far the greatest carl tribute I have ever seen. I too am a sling blade fan. Funny and educational.

Just watched the movie and ... it is very good but too sad..there was some crying over here .. :) ..just sayin!
