i originally made this for my cousin who was off serving in iraq (she came home early :) 8-7-09) and all of the soldiers that are currently there/being deployed. many have been deployed, many haven't made it...the iraq war isnt our war, we shouldn't be involved, yet we are. all we at home can to is hope for the best, that no one else has to take the risk that the soldiers are making, and that they all come back soon..

I think that a lot of people misinterpret this song into thinking it's some sort of pro-fighting glorifying war song. The way I understand it, it reveals the horrors of war, watch a young girl cry and her mother scream, etc.,...

@Inexorability And to your point of "They are afraid of their country is being destroyed" That's a totaly wrong point of view. As long as there is a presence of weapons, there will be fear on that nation. But Fear is not the Answer. You need to be respected because generosity(my vocabulary is bad, but i hope you understand) and other good things, so if your land is attacked, everyone things: "WTF? Why them? They're peacefull" and they will punish the attacking country (Not War, but other things)
