We started Makeover My Hero with one main goal... to give back to people who are always giving to others. It is time to put them first. Gina Meyer, married with two beautiful children, is currently the 7th grade reading teacher at Pennfield Middle School. Graduating from Millersville University, she headed out to become a teacher. Dedicated to her students and their education, Mrs. Meyer has a true passion for her craft.

From the second she heard about Makeover My Hero, Mrs. Meyer was excited. She had some stiff competition from her colleagues, but we all knew she had the votes in the bag when she appeared to school in her prom dress as part of her campaign.

I think you are thinking of super heroes. ;)

I think anyone can be a hero really. If you go out of your way to help and care for others, to me that is a hero. Helping others... to enjoy life. This really eccentially is a way I can spread love to the world. It is rewarding and hopefully contagious. We give not money, not hope but a piece of what we do to say thanks for what you do. SO really aren't we all heroes then?
