Good video! I think it looks even better at night! The view is amazing..

A monorail at that grade? Now I've seen everything! Are the motors extra powerful? Or is the frame just really light? (I'm assuming like a light rail)

Thankyou for the comment. A lot of thought must have gone into the designing of the track route.

I would like to see Light Rail do that (hill at 1:05)

It looks like there are two rails to me. Why do they call it "monorail"?

@englearningsolutions It is two tracks so monorail vehicles can travel in both directions without having to share the same track.

very nice system, I have ridden it many times. Can;t wait until Line 1 (all subway E-W) and Line 3 (light rail N-S) open in 2011!

Riding the monorail there are fantastic views of the city. It is certainly a 'must do' for visitors to the city.

Interesting. The monorail going up and down is like a slow rollerocoaster. I noticed the sign "No Photograpghy." Why is that? Seems harmless to me.

Chongqing is a very interesting city as well, please see my other videos on Chongqing. The reason for the sign "No photography" might be so that the monorail driver is not distracted.
