@halimartizga Actually you're incorrect. This opening is from the audio cd "The Birthday of Rei Ayanami. The song is sung by Megumi Hayashibara.

This is pretty darn cool!

It has more of an American feel to it, but its not the same feeling you have when you watch NGE.
I prefer the original a little more.

YOu did awesome job on making those. At 3:39 Rei seems to have an almost feel like you your looking at some space alien. She is half angle of of course.

Most of these were done via airbrush right? Lacquer or acrylic? Also if you're using lacquer, do you have any special method as to how you measure the ratio for the thinner? Would it be easier for me just to use the can? Or would I be better off using the can to just decant it?

@infornogr4phy Common viscosity for most paints and airbrush is a milk like consistency. With lacquers it's important to not get it too thin or you can get a lot of odd buildup, but usually lacquer is more forgiving than acrylic because it becomes sticky and easier to build up and dries super quickly. I used both lacquer and acrylic. Lacquer usually for the solid colors, then acrylic over it which you can erase with alcohol if you mess up. This is especially true with details like eyes.

They sell a lot of prepainted gk, and also the mass produced figures are getting fairly good. You might be able to find some at hobbysearch, or hlj(hobby link Japan). There`s always ebay, but you might want to stay away from cheap too good to be true kits, that are usually from Thailand, they`re poor quality and can be very hard to build.
