  • Great video. But can someone explain to me the idea of a "backstop", as in where they say that he can use the freezer behind him as a backstop?

I thought it would make more sense for him to zone in the opposite direction, so that he maintains lateral mobility in both directions.

  • @IronMongoose1

A backstop is a solid object that will stop a round if it were to miss or pass thru the attacker. Gun rule 4, always be mindful of what is beyond your target. Thanks!

  • Yes the guys are superb. I do have to thank them for giving me the ok to post this. I do recommend the series to any one pro2a!!

  • I like how he described himself to the 911 dispatcher....hahahaha... Yeah brown jacket, white guy. Oops, thats my description too!!! What a tool

  • black hawk holster for conceal? man hes brave and dumb..

  • @w2rac Ah yes, that makes sense. I had heard that term before, but thought Janich was referring to something behind the self-defenser. I was scratching my head going, "why would the guy WANT to be backed up against a large object?" Now it makes sense, thanks.

  • Outstanding video series. These guys seem to understand tactics and the law. Kudos!

  • This is one of the best shows out there that takes the time to teach on ways to deal with a particular scenario/critical dynamic incident.

  • YOu in the greenjacket call the Police!! lol

  • These guys are good! Somebody commented right: the guy decided to be a good witness should have the gun drawn just in case. Puts in awkward legal position but helps to stay safer.

And: in case of robbery don't be a hero, get yourself gun first (and training!)

  • To all viewers watching this video; buy the dvd! It covers a lot more detail than YouTube shows. Buy the dvd, you'll be glad you did.
