I aint doin too muc better than you. *L* Its been almost that long for me too. I just remember going. They still have sunday soul night in Fay NC. Them folks dont be playing either. There's a thursday soul night too.

hmm..I see, well, i'm in the Bahamas now, so definitely not happening here, but when I get back to NY, I'm definitely getting back involved. They have some free skating sessions during the summer in Central park. Not exactly old school, but deep house which is my shit too!!

Cameo was the shit and this was one of my favorite Cameo tunes. They were super funky at this stage of their career. I liked them better before Word Up even though I liked that too. As a big band with horns and all they were incredible. Makes me think of hot parties and clubs in Memphis. Have mercy!

@str8outtatexas1 yea i gues 35 to 40...im 51 and its r&b and this heavy kind of funk music for me. i have listen to what they call music to day and man it is sad..listen to what the message is in the music and get sick..not to mention the so call sampling of music...man that gets me up set to hear them rappin to something i jammed on in the 80s .. some guys at work was playing 2pacs Same Hos..i put candy in and told them that was out when 2pack was drinking milk out the bottle
