This is the second version of my "little" terrain engine made with XNA.

Improved Water shader with full reflections, large heightmap with frustum culling, vegetation(random trees), skysphere with inner skydome, billboard sun, time system with atmosphere color shifting(and fog), multitexturing. Maybe not really a "game engine" .. but I don't have much time for this... sadly It's just an hobby for me :P.
I started about One year ago following riemer's tutorials
(www.riemers.net). Since It's in beta I don't release source or editor yet.
Sorry all but it looks that I can't post more than one row at a time in video comments. Don't know why.

    la differenza tra me e te è che malgrado a causa di quel malaugurato spostamento io mi sia trovata con la gilda vuota, io non mi arrendo! dovresti tornare a casa, pischello.

  • A chiunque legga questi post...LadyTamazin non è una mia ex-fidanzata ... ma la mia Guild Leader in Warcraft :P Cmq modellare una tigre non è proprio facilissimo, per non parlare dell'animazione..

    This begs for some fantasy RPG.

  • You're terrain's texture looks a little bit too tiled. If you have some spare cycles on your pixel shader for an extra texture fetch, you could sample the texture as usual, and then sample the same texture with a factor applied to the UV coordinates (x8 etc...). Then blend between the two depending on the distance, the viewer won't be able to tell it's tiled.
