  • erm.. okay my dear.

Quite scary that your an expert and you seem to think that a bite from a rodent in every case will make a snake "very sick" Sometimes snakes only feed on live... and will refuse F/T. what then? let it starve?

    HAHAAHAH

  • richy calm down. both snakes and rats are pets so they have to be fed what they eat naturally or in the wild. Snakes eat rats, its called the food chain.

  • Why wouldn't you feed them live rats? You think they eat frozen then thawed rats in nature? And if your snake got killed by the rat, then you probably didn't do enough research to find out how to take care of it. Responsible snake owners should know to not leave the rat with the snake if it doesn't eat after maybe 10 minutes. Then it wouldn't get killed.

  • Actually, my friend's pet ball python got killed by a live rat during one of its feedings. It can happen.

  • Fail Village strikes again! Spreading misinformation for the sake of us all! Wait wut?

  • The fact that this woman is being hailed as an expert is actually borderline disturbing.

  • You either lied or have no idea what you're talking about. Snakes get bitten by rats & mice frequently, and very rarely ever get sick. You say they will get sick.

Making predators eat like scavengers is plain sadistic. Advocates of this shouldn't get a predator to begin with if they're not willing to raise it like one. Live feeding is definitely healthier for body & mind, and can be done safely if one simply bothers to learn how to do it correctly.

  • umm thats why you are suppose to knock out the rat

  • @nilagorilla

They eat both in the wild. Have you ever seen a wild boa or python? They are normally pretty scarred up. In captivity, there is no excuse for a scarred up snake.

  • @stormtooth

Most snakes will. I haven't come across one I couldn't get to convert to F/T, including Burmese pythons that had been on live since hatching. You will not be able to prevent a bite by "watching" or "monitoring". All you can do by watching and monitoring is to prevent the feeder from chewing on the snake.

  • why am i watching a retardvillage video?

  • they find frozen mice oon the ground in the wild lol fck u expert my ass
