why didnt you paint it on a new layer then merge it it would of looked so freaking awesome and every line would show up

nice first time i guess. you'll get better as long as u keep it up and just keep practicing you'll learn more on how to add contrast and make it more life like

Not bad, Try corel painter with a digital pen tablet, once you get the hang of the brushes, layering, and color effects you can do some amazing work. I just got a pen tablet, and with a few days practice, you can get results that look like a pro did it...
