Lunes 2 de julio de 2012, Buenos Aires: La Presidenta de la Nación, Cristina Fernández, entregó los primeros DNI a personas que resultaron beneficiados por la Ley de Identidad de Género. La jefa de Estado agradeció a las organizaciones que lucharon por el matrimonio igualitario y la igualdad de género y a todos los que "luchan por seguir ampliando los derechos" de los argentinos.

    es impresionante cuanta enseñanza me ha dejado esta era política , prefiero no ser parte "del monton" q solo sabe insultar y proyectarse hacia el gobierno por no tener vidas satisfactorias. Quizas no sea un gobierno perfecto pero es el mejor q podemos tener hasta el momento, quiera Dios ayudar a nuestra presidenta para que pueda levantar nuestro país que tiene mucho contenido histórico en cuanto a lucha por los derechos e igualdad, gracias por darme la oportunidad de aprender gracias CFK y NK
