It is certainly a gem by all accounts. Though, i do not know how "hidden" it is, considering it is one of the most reviewed films of all time. It has grown more obscure over the passage of time, but this is truly a unique, brilliant film that could play in any era. Worth your time, in spades.

I just saw this movie for the first time. Great film. Reminded me of Moonlight Kingdom.
