too anally setup for a gearmanndude demo, haha...
-
just get a yellow one and change a few components to the gray's specs
-
Indistinguishable. Now I'll feel okay about just getting the yellow one.

So funny to see a video of the yellow DOD! I still have that pedal. It was the first pedal I ever bought....got it in 1982 I believe.

He IS Jack black

The yellow one sounds more warmer. Must be those mosfet transistors KINDYROOT was talking about. I think I'm sold.

Its elecrtonic circuit is so simple that I made a vintage DOD250 (with a LM741) on a prototype board, and it sounds good for a 2$ project (its electronics are cheaper then the metal box).
Thanks for the demo, I'm thinking of upgranding the circuit.
...And Yes, it is super duper anal in many ways!

oh great demo!

btw the difference between the 741 chip and the LF351 is that the first (very old) had bipolar transistors while the second has mosfet transistors (which are more sensitive), and in addition the whole circuit has less noise, it can technically be considered a good upgrade, but musicians usually don't welcome change with open arms.
You sound like Jack Black
