George Philipp Telemann (1681-1767)
Tafelmusik Vol.2 No.2, 4th Movement
Georg Philipp Telemann during the Baroque period was considered to be one of the most important and popular composers in Germany, even more popular than Johann Sebastian Bach. At 10, Telemann had already learned how to play the flute, the zither, and keyboard instruments. At 12, he was composing operas.
Tafelmusik (literally "table music" in German) is a term denoting 186th and 17th century music which was used as background music for feasts, banquets and other outdoor events.
The Tafelmusik or Musique de Table by Telemann is perhaps his most celebrated collection of music. Composed in 1733, his Tafelmusik has been compared as a collection to the renowned Brandenburg Concertos of Bach in clearly demonstrating the composer's supreme skill and handling a diversity of musical genres and a variety of instruments. Tafelmusik could either be instrumental, vocal, or both. As might be expected, it was often of a somewhat lighter character than music for other occasions. By the 18th century, the function of Tafelmusik as well as the name was replaced by the Divertimento.
here's a maybe useful tip:
next time you perform it in a hall with a piano
you block the right pedal somehow
so the strings of the piano will act as an echo chamber ... giving more brilliance to your playing! :)

@suffiice Bach was an important developer of the Hammerklavier action and one of the first to perform
Musikalisches Opfer i.e. but off course it did not sound like a modern piano at all
