This is one of a series of pieces that I call "Japonisme". Here I've taken a recording of a solo female voice (from an old 7" record I found at a Tokyo flea market) and put it over a simple pulse. The jaw harp you hear is a bamboo one, from the Philippines, played by yours truly.
The footage was shot in Ikebukuro, Tokyo.
何気にこのビデオ面白い。

ボーカルが始めは民謡だと気づかなかったなあ。
