@grngs1 Hey im talking about a motor that Reekoslav has not a buick 455. 455 needs way more than 600cfms to feed it properly, but a properly jetted one should feed the 5.0L motor Reekoslv is talking about.

@Reekoslav The carb should fit but depending on your intake you may need an adapter. Easiest way is to change the carb and intake and the aftermarket intake will weigh less and perform better. and yeah i mean a camshaft. The Lt-1s are great motors i have a 96 z28 camaro with an lt-1 and its quick. It would probably be a lot easier to modify the motor you already have. motor swaps can be very time consuming and expensive. It isn't as simple as just bolting it in.

thank you man u helped alot i appreciate it !! ill keep ur advises in mind .. so u say a 600 cfm carb whould fit and an intake manifold would be better .. and u mean by cam a camshaft right just excuse me i dont live in america i just wanna make sure i got what ur sayin right :)

im also thinkin abt and LT1 swap i think its easier to be tuned up i can easily find parts for it online .. do you approve ??

A 600 CFM carb is WAY TOO SMALL for a Buick 455, factory was 800CFM.

@Reekoslav Oh and the edelbrock carb is the performer series carb. The holley avenger carbs should work to. The carbs may require an adapter but they are only about 20 bucks. any other questions feel free to ask. I know this isnt my video but Id be glad to help with what I can.

@Reekoslav Most likely the headers will have to be fitted to your vehicle or get some block huggers/shorty's for small block buick . Not as good but definately an improvement over the factory exhaust manifolds. A 600 Edelbrock or similar sized holley would be plenty for your motor.Might not have to change the intake but i would. An aftermarket aluminum will flow better. i would do the ignition system with a MSD street fire kit and maybe do a cam swap to a slightly hotter cam profile.

sup people , iv got a 79' electra limited with a stock engine 5.0l and i wanna tune it up .. i live in Jordan nd i have to order parts online , i wanna get headers and holly carburator and iv got some questions hoping some one will help .. abt the headers do any buick headers for v8small block fits my engine or theres a matter of the exact size of the engine?

and about the holly or edelbrock what cfm size would fit my car's engine and do i need to change the intake manifold ?? anyone can help ??

Wow... A Buick sounds WAY better Than A pontiac actually... that's pretty Damn schocking! I was expecting them to be clones but no... Appariently that's because A buick is more Bore than Stroke, or what ever the technical terms are, Don't know.
