There's a slight problem with this palette, not just with me but it has also come up with someone else on a forum. When closed and being carried flat, as one does, if any liquidy paint from a compartment touches the join between the lid and the base, it wicks along about half the length through capillary action and then drops down to contaminate the other compartments. Solution is to shave down bottom edge on inside, to give it a camber and minimise contact between base and lid.
