It's actually the other way around, nobody is sourrunding the US with guns forcing you into submission. The US is doing that overseas to other countries, fighting wars that can never be won. How do you defeat a verb? Terrorism. How do you win the war in Iraq when their is enemy to fight. In that cause the enemy would simply be iraqis. And the same goes for Afghanistan. US "lost" those wars years ago, I can't believe that they are still going on

If you remember the Vietwar ended with a meeting of representatives from both sides, at that time the war was hopleslessy lost. Before Hitler killed himself one of the top generals on the western front signed the unconditional surrender against the parties orders, Heinrich Himmler. The Iran Iraq war ended after 8 years of bloodshed around the table.
