  • @TomBoomsheeva I was thinking it was maybe them scent-marking the hive?

  • punishment for improper inside behavior ... these kids are sent outside to clean the entry face with their spit and tiny toothbrushes ...

  • A beautiful example. I've seen this on my hive but never so many individuals at one time. What a puzzlement! Someone suggests it is something like thumbtwiddling. Could be.

  • i know why is that happens, because they have nothing to collect, wait till next nectar flow - thinks will change immediately
