  • @TheJimineycricket The bark has to be stripped off because it becomes hard as stone once the tree is felled. To achieve this the harvester is equipped with Eucalyptus rollers...

    The reason why they cut down and process the entire tree is because it is all pulp wood and will be transportet to the nearest paper mill.

    I hope that gave you the answers to your questions.

  • Why does the bark strip off so easy on these trees and why cut them down to such a small diameter?
