Autumn Tree (2005)

April 20, 1999. The world was in shock as camera footage was shown on television of SWAT teams evacuating students out of an american high school. It was the last moments of a terrible tragedy that cost 13 victims their lives and left many more severly injured. The two responsible, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, turned out to be 2 teenage students themselves of Columbine High, making the motivation of the tragedy even more uncomprehendable.

Autumn Tree is a story based on the lives of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. Whitout it being a complete reconstruction, it shows the situation before and during the tragedy. For more information we would strongly recommend to read the authors comments in te menu.

@Dillrod90 Personally, I just find it very unfortunate that the 2 responsible, Eric and Dylan, got into the situation where they didn't see any sensible way out anymore. How desperate do you have to become in order to do this?

It's not a single event that made them do this, but rather a difficult chain of events that all created the foundation for the insane tragedy I condemn them for their actions, but that doesn't mean I don't understand they were human beings struggling with their emotions.

I don't get how people make them out to be monsters. If all you've felt is pain, all you can give back is pain. People are just fucked up in the way they can manipulate another person's mind to make them have the desire to kill, and the sadness they can feel. I can relate to their feelings of anger, I've wanted to walk into my school with an M-60 and tear people to shreds. The way to solve this is to teach people to back the hell off.
