Actually the Vietnamese did attack us. They didn't attack our soil, but while we were over there lending a hand, they killed Lt. Col. A. Peter Dewey who confused a few Vietnamese at a gate for French, and they confused him for a French, so they killed him.

@ToddBoyle I don't want to get into a big debate, you are right the Vietnamese and the Koreans never attacked us, but I recall Vietnam and the Korean war were fought to promote/protect democracy in the region. In Korea the communist forces were both funded/trained and fought along side Com. Chinese forces. In the Vietnam war the communist forces were funded trained by the then communist soviet union and communist Chinese forces. The US wanted to stop the spread of communism through the region.

I see those advocates of military violence have posted many comments. Tell me how killing people 10 thousan miles away is self defense. Tell me how killing these people who have never attacked america, is moral .. let alone, useful for any conceivable purpose? You're a bunch of idiots. America's problems will not be solved by killing innocent or powerless people in Af-stan. History: the Koreans never attacked us either. or Vietnamese. THEY WERE NOT A THREAT. you dufuses.
