Spotlight does lack a few features however, with a jailbroken iDevice, and these two tweaks, you can definitely enhance it. Spotbright is first and it gives you six icons at the top of spotlight and these are your last six applications you had open. It also allows you to search for hidden apps. Next is Universal Search and this paid tweak allows you to search the internet straight from you spotlight.

I know this video is over a year old but do you know if there is a tweak to hide or remove the spotlight search? I love smoothboard but always hate having the keyboard pop up because your 1mm into the spotlight.

its basically multitasking.... but worse!

Added this tweak and it sgut my iphone down. crashed my springboard and almost made me loose all my data. hadc to ssh into the file system of the iphone and rename the twek to disabled and it let me re-boot my iphone. anyone else had this probblem. Really want this tweak it is cool.
