Please first read about the entire story of bhopal gas tragedy (including commision report by UNION CARBIDE SAFETY ENGINEERS FROM US...) before you blame the locals for such a disaster. If you think the Dow upper management is not responsible, why the heck the (HONOURABLE) CEO of dow chemicals is absonding from indian justice. If you think the local are responsible why the local workers aren't given proper training to prevent such a disaster (so who is morally responsible then?).

Tens of thousands of people are being poisoned TODAY in Bhopal, India. They having no source of drinking water other than an aquifer contaminated with toxic chemicals emanating from the abandoned Union Carbide factory.

Dow are 100% owners of Union Carbide and, despite what tell the media, there has NEVER been any recompense, either financial or otherwise, with regard to the water poisoning.

The (measly) compensation that was paid out only covered people exposed to Union Carbide's toxic gas.

Dow chemical may pretend that they care but what they really created hear was simply a mirage. They try to cover up what they did by fabricating a vision to which stock holders of Dow chemical feel is the true vision of the company when really that vision is of nothing but Greed! Money once again has played its part in destroying life by letting fat cats in high places ignore what has happened in return for a tidy sum to buy that car they'll never drive or that house they'll never use!

The orignal commercial was to clean up their image from the water poisoning. Instead of using the money to help those affected or cleanse the poison they paid someone to make the original commercial. The sad thing is that I was fooled by the commercial, I hadnt even heard about their injustice until by pure chance I watched THE YES MEN FIX THE WORLD on tv. If there is one thing big business knows how to do well, its give people a false sense of security. Down with all liars like Dow.
