Repti-Bark works well, and it cant be ingested so its not bad for tortoises. Although, if you have a humid environment Repti-Bark will absorb the humidity and make the tortoises uncomfortable, i use a de-humidifier.

you should never use aspen! its horrible for them!

you need a better choice of words buddy, by water holder, you can mean a penis, so try to explain on that, and give your turtle plenty of lights because it looks like the sun the the creatures and helps them, you know, get a tan.

thats a good idea to use a cage! that way you dont have to wast money on a tank
can you just use like a water holder, like not a cage or tank, and do you NEED the lightbulb, im sorry, i want to get one, but im a noob when it come to tortoises =p

im not sure whatyou mean by water holder but yes they do NEED a uvb and uva light do ALOT of reserach before you get a tortoise

do tortoises drink water because i never see my sulcata drink water from her water rock bowl thing.but i wet her food so she can drink water

i have seen tortoises drink but it is very rare to see it is a good idea to spray the veggies i do that to so i know they are getting water
