  • Do you ever use your engines for tasks or not?

    Nice meltings..

  • @Chop94sticks I enjoy building the engines and don't usualy make anything for them to drive.

  • I spent all morning to look at your video,s.

    What a joy.

Can you share houw you make the letter,s in your castings?

    Tank You.

  • @JaapGrootveld The letters are added to the pattern. The ones you see on this engine are plastic letters sold specificaly for this application. On the Monitor engine there is a logo on the fuel tank that was made by cutting the design from plasticard. The large letters on my Stickney engine are cut from cardboard.

  • those gears are turning the same direction!!

in all seriousness though, very nice

and how easy is it to make your own castings?

  • @gibbo1112 Please watch my my videos on metal casting so see how its done.

  • @fairyheli2 Not quite. The shape of the cam means the engine can only fire every 8 stokes instead of the normal 4. Additionaly there is a govenor which reduces the number of fire strokes further.

  • Excellent job! Could not tell this from the real thing if you weren't told! Selling a casting kit for that would make big money...

  • Great job and a fine runner too. It appears a giant was starting this engine. Later, Rick.

  • This is fantastic!

  • @myfordboy oh ok, sorry :P

  • I have seen one of these help make ice cream at a living history farm. Love your work man.
