Specialized Crosstrail Expert 2010

Before buying this bike i was looking for a video like this ...not found. So i've made this video for people looking for a nice hybrid bike.. :-)

Love it, ordering mine soon, what are the mudguards gotta get some, you mentioned the front one being too short?

@Franksie1009 hi. The mudguards are Topeak Defender. The front is short because not suited for 700cc wheels.. whatever, they works well :-)

Hey i was wondering if you knew where i could get tires more for mountain and also a better front fork?

i don't know exactly but for tires, i wouldn't recomend a extreme use in mountain.. the wheels are big.. ^^

I own a Crosstrail Sport 2010 with which I fell in love at first sight but I only wish it also had hydraulic brakes like this great Expert model. I hope you won't mind me saying that although the Topeak fenders are very good looking they rather spoil the unique design of this bike's frame and overall appearance, decisions decisions...

Anyone who owns or have owned this bike please tell me what your thoughts are of it...  I just got mine brand-spankin new and I love it so far. Ive only had Trek mtb's thru out my life and this bike is my first Specialized and my first hybrid so Im just wanting to know what to expect as far as what components tend to ware or break first among other things.... I cant believe how heavy it is BUT that doesnt bother me that much so far.

@forkedroad 32 lbs or so = VERY heavy for a hybrid but not necessarily a bad thing... You get more momentum on flat paved surfaces and the 700c wheels are great !

i LOVE my Crosstrail!

yes, ive only had it for a few days now, but its awesome. its not an Expert, but Sport Disc in Black/Matte Black. it rides beautifully and stops on a dime.

Actually, the new "29'ers" are extremely common at events. 700c wheels are close in size.

Im about to buy one, except just the Sport model. Need to buy a trailer for our son too, that kills $400 out of budget :( your video is Just what I was looking for! Like the two tone of your '09. The 2011 Sport comes in just black.
