Love your neighbor. You can also try, stone your neighbor to death for believing in other faiths or leaving their faith. We need to wake up and move past medieval nonsense, that includes patriotism. It is all the same crap to brain wash us and separate us from each other. Our country is better than your country, our god is the one true god, all you other gods are false. I have more money than you, your black im white. The list goes on and on and doesn't get us anywhere.

@HIGHSPRUCERICAN I'll take blindness in my heart over blindness in my brain - you believe in fables written by men- thats fine if you need such a thing to deal with life - you speak of faith, Faith is always used when facts cannot back up what want. Maybe 1000 years from now when someone reads DC comics they will believe in superman

Biblical literature, especially that of the Old Testament, is meant to be taken with a grain of salt. The Hebrew idea of a story wasn't to tell non-fiction, but to prove a point. Eg. Noah and the flood: Simply, listen to God and you will stay afloat.

As somebody who isn't sure what I believe, i am skeptical about this speech. I want to believe in God, but how can I? The bible was written by men! Nothing about it makes sense! Then I look at the other side of it.

Why are we here? I know there isn't a reason for everything, but what is the point of living? Did God create this universe for us to explore?

Sometimes I wish religion was never invented...

@HIGHSPRUCERICAN I don't believe a word of it because it is simply illogical. Humans have been around for at least 100,000 years so for 98,000 years god does nothing at all. Then he decides to intervene by impregnating a woman on earth waits 30 or so years for his son to grow up and then has him executed. His message didn't work because there are a great deal of people like myself skeptical it ever happened. If god really wanted us to know of his existence he would present himself now
