Now, arabic phenotype varies greatly as well; I've seen ethnic southern europeans darker than some egyptians, etc. And well, what can we do, arabs have been an empire, just like western europeans, the chinese, the japanese...humanity!

There ARE blue-eyed blonde persians/arabs/etc. It's not very common though (slightly more common with persians). Green eyes are way more common among them. Persians/Iranians tend to be pretty light-skinned though. And just look at Syria's president, he's a 6 foot something blue eyed sonofabiatch.
After all, they (or should I see, we, considering I'm part "white" and you probably are, too), are all descendants of "indo-europeans".

@tayzerdbaby33 Or not... the stereotypical northern european, being the descendant of indo-europeans, is the product of extreme-sexual-selection. Aka, since most males died while hunting in the cold cold nordic countries, the few ones that remained had plenty of girls to choose from...and they usually chose the exotic blue eyed blondes. Eventually a recessive trait became dominant. The origin of the blue eyed blonde phenotype probably lies in the Middle East/India. Or not. Who knows.
