"Turner's Two Cents" columnist Cameron Turner says L.A. Clippers announcers Ralph Lawler and Michael Smith "played toward bigotry" by mocking Memphis Grizzlies rookie Hamed Haddadi because he is Iranian.

  • It's not racist, it is insensitive. They are broadcasting to the masses, including many Iranian Americans (who are great Americans), especially in the los angeles area. They were suspended for embarrassing their employer with that exchange. It was behavior that had to be corrected, and it was.  They were contrite about it. Haddidi was gracious. Iranian Americans were shown respect as a result. I'm totally satisfied with how it turned out.
