Attack Cycle Strike:
This movie had its number of screw ups in it.
But the original audio stream was not in my way, and also did I have great difficulty getting the right sounds for this movie anyway, so I decided to keep it and upgrade it.
There was a lot of work to be done.
I condone anyone for not noticing this in the original.
The movie is, as all Tiberian Sun cinematic movies, short and a lot of things happen quickly in it.
Let me show you though how flawed the original is.
In the original, the two Attack Cycles speed up to the camera, and then the camera turns while the two shoot by.
Here it comes: The two bikes don't travel next to each other, but instead one drives slightly ahead of the other.
Also does the last bike pass by closer to the camera.
Yet, only the (hardly impressive) sound of only 1 bike is played.
I fixed this by adding 2 motor sounds, one for the ahead bike that is slightly further away, and a second time for the second bike which passes by the camera closer.
The second motor sound is therefor louder.
Moving on to mistake number two:
The camera follows the second bike from closeup.
You can see the driver and some tech stuff on his dashboard.
Through the window glass you can see the first bike.
On the background you can hear the engine sound.
Next shot, the camera follows the two bikes from to ceiling of the tunnel.
The camera is now further away from the engines, but yet it has the same volume.
This was easily fixed, by filtering the motor sound out, and applying a little more volume to the closeup shot, and a little less to the shot that follows them from the tunnel ceiling.
Then follows the missiles.
Not necessarily a mistake in everyone's eyes, but it was easily applied: I gave the Attack Cycles the original firing sound from the game itself.
Sounds much better in my opinion.
Then I upped the number of explosion sounds a bit to better suit what's happening on the screen.
Nothing special there.
And then, I arrived at mistake number 3.
The bikes skid, and drive past the camera... but there is no sound!
Yes, when they've both passed the camera you can hear them drive off from your left speaker, but just before when they are right in front of you there is absolutely zero engine sound, while clearly these things are accelerating.
I already had the right sound for this kind of event from the first shot of the movie, so I could just repeat that process.
I hope you enjoy the end result.
Also do I encourage you to check out the visual difference:

You can see it yourself if you load the movie in full HD on Full Screen mode.
Compare it with the original (bound to be on YouTube somewhere) if you like.
@TheBranderrShow yeah its still a game though and everything is possible =p

@toektoektoek makes sense, I suppose. Plus, the missile pods probably ballast it so its more balanced on each side.

how did the recon bike/attack cycle manage to stand upright in-game? it's a 2 wheeled vehicle and the pilots are in a type of "cockpit" that mimicks that of a light cycle... I've always wondered that...
