If you know the internal mechanics of the car, operating a clutch seems like common sense!

Hello, I was wondering if you could help me. On certain corners, when I heal and toe down the box under braking I sometimes need to left foot brake to maintain a decent apex angle (rather than lifting off or power over-steering); my question is the transition from right foot on the brake pedal when heel and toeing, to left foot on the brake pedal when left foot braking whilst maintaining constant brake pressure is not always smooth, do you have any tips to combat this? (I don't use a pedal box)

This biting point is very important and needs months of practice to be perfect to be involuntarily able to do so well...remember on traffic signals when you would require to halt your car for over 1 minute then don't keep your engine at biting point....it should only be for less than 30 secs each time you start to move

can you do a vid about stopping and message me when its done because i can never stop smoothly its always sharp

when your not touching the clutch or have the clutch fully foward the the car will sound like it is chuging and when you find the biting point it will sound like it is puring then lift the clutch a bit and you wil begin to move and dip it and you will slow

@marcakaskillzyahoo The biting point is when the friction plate is just starting to make contact with the flywheel, meaning they arent spinning with each other fully, but slightly (the disc is starting to take up the drive). Easy way to put it
clutch up-engine connected
clutch down-engine disconnected
biting point- almost connected.
Be aware though, holding the biting point for too long will damage the friction plate and the thrust bearing.

Be very sensitive with your clutch ;)
so wait do you bring it to biting point when you want to move forward? You said you move about milimeter so is that your biting point?

@marcakaskillzyahoo
Yeah when you bring up your clutch around a millimeter and feel a slight tug on the car, that is your biting point. You then keep your clutch steady whilst you release the handbrake which will stop you from rolling backwards.
